Boost your Twitter Following
Purpose
Hi and thanks for reading. I’ve setup this small blog to supplement my efforts in trying to achieve a six figure income, working from home, completely from flat zero income.
I’ll be attempting to spend as little as possible along the way in the hopes that my efforts might inspire people to believe they can achieve the same results – even if they have no funds to get going.
I got the idea for this project from a tweet I received in Twitter. @morganzero released a blog post, claiming he could apply his “Twitter Rocket” program to a brand new Twitter account and have it running a 6 figure income ($USD) by the end of 6 months. There was a competition and I came pretty close to winning but no cigar.
Not to be deterred, I’m going to try and follow @sixfigureluke (the guy who won) and replicate (or better!) his success. You can follow my progress here or follow me on Twitter
With that said, lets proceed.
Starting off.
After watching @sixfigureluke’s initial moves, everything seems pretty straight forward.
You will need:
A brand new Twitter account – signup at http://twitter.com/signup
A visually pleasing background to use on your account, you can create your own or design one online at http://freetwitterdesigner.com/
An account with Tweetlater
An account with Tweepular
A free Paydotcom membership
Membership of the Upstart Blogger affiliate program (detailed later)
Beneficial but not required:

Step one: Open your twitter account – http://twitter.com/signup, choose a simple but catchy name, fill out the rest of the form.
Step two: Customise your Twitter account as you see fit. Keep it simple and you won’t go far wrong.
Step three: Open your tweetlater account, link it to your twitter account and have it automatically mail people a response when they follow you & follow them back automatically. Keep the automated message non spammy, you do want to keep those followers?
Step Four: Lets start following some tweeps! You want to target active tweeps who have over one thousand followers and a follower to following ratio that is in favour of following if possible. There is a good tutorial on some popular search sites here
Go for broke here, Twitter allows 1000 API calls per day so follow as many tweeps as you can. A large percent will follow you back.
Step Five: Start tweeting some genuine stuff you are interested in. Let people know what you are doing that day, tell a joke just keep it natural.
Step six: Repeat the process above in step four and five until you hit the wall of two thousand following. Twitter only allows you to follow two thousand people (or 10% over following) if you have under 2k following you.
Step 7: You’ll notice your follower count is starting to peter out its rapid rise 7 you can follow less people each day. Time to ditch the no follows! Open your Tweepular and sign in, now head to the No follow love tab and bulk unfollow those not interested parties.
Step eight: Get going with the Upstart blogger affiliate program:
